Former NBC News investigator Chris Hansen leads a team of correspondents on this series that explores the world of crime, mystery, and drama through real-life criminal cases. Hansen brings to the show a modified version of a long-running segment he did at NBC. In “Hansen vs. Predator,” he helps bring down predators who use social media to target children. Hansen’s investigations also target crooked politicians, money scammers, and criminal celebrities. Hansen hosts the show from the streets of New York City, while most of the correspondents remain within the Los Angeles newsroom.
