“American Restoration” is about preserving America’s past by restoring items of Americana once saw better days. Whether it’s a classic automobile, a vintage gas pump, or an antique trinket, a lot of sweat and a little love can go a long way in returning these items back to how they looked when they were new. The first several seasons featured the work of Rick Dale’s crew at Las Vegas-based Rick’s Restorations. Still, the show has diversified and highlighted teams that work on restoring old items at several shops around the country, some of which have customer lists that include some of the best-known stardom and businesses in America.
