Billy the Exterminator

Billy Bretherton first appeared on an episode of Dirty Jobs, where his eccentric style earned him a show of his own. His show now features the swampy state of Louisiana and offers plenty of business opportunities for Vexcon, the family-run pest-control firm headed by Billy. Of course, there are other exterminators in the Pelican State. Still, Billy’s company is the only one bold enough to tackle all types of animal removal, from teeny insects to giant snakes. Given the unpredictable demands of the job, it probably helps that Billy’s family members are a supportive and colorful clan that includes brother Rick and mother Donnie, who run the Vexcon offices. Late seasons of the show find Billy rescuing larger and more extreme pests and critters in locations other than Louisiana, including deep in the Canadian wild.
